So far, working on the robot project has been so fun. It has made science class a lot more fun. I think that my team should work together more, instead of watching one person do it. Even though some of us suggest we help, it never really happens. It is still a load of fun, but we need to work on team-work. Otherwise, I love it! I think it is a great experience to be able to make something, and work hard on it, and then be able to enjoy it. I think that is great.
This project is really fun. I it is really making a robot with a couple other people and making it do whatever you want. I think my team should work together a little bit more, but when we do work together, we can do things really quickly. I learned how to play the piano better! It is also really cool to see other people's robots and compare it to your robot and see things that you can do to make your robot better. I hope we get to do something like this again in 6th grade or in other grades.
During the Robot project I have been having so much fun! It has helped me in many ways to be a little bit more alert of my mistakes when I work, because if you want your robot to be able to move, you have to make sure everything is in the right spot at all times. We had programed our robot to go forward and backwards, but since we didn't attach the cords in the right slots (slot a, b, and c) it just spun around in reckless circles. We fixed it by programing the robot, so that motor A would move forward, on both wheels, and so that motor C would move backwards with both wheels. The robot project really gets me thinking, it is so much fun! ~
Working on the robot project has been really enjoyable. My group has done a pretty good job of working together but sometimes the amount of work between us in uneven. During this project I have learned to look at directions very carefully. It is important when building to do this because it saves you from starting over. I thought the part that was more fun in this project was programing our robot. It was fun to explore what you could make your robot do and it made you think about if parts were connected right, etc. This project has been and entertaining one. This was one of the bests labs we have done all year and I can't wait to see what other groups have created!!

I think we are moving along at a reasonable pace. although I think we could do better with teamwork. sometimes the work isn't distributed fairly. other than that we're building the robot quickly AND carefully.
The robot has been a fun, but difficult at times. There have been many problems along the way of creating a robot. Every time you add a new part to your robot, a new problem has to be overcome. The project has been a fun experience to see what you can create with the motors and sensors. This project also is giving freedom to what partners can make, and what they can program the robot to do. It can be hard to get the exact programming right at times because all of the extra side parts you need for sensors, as well as putting the sensor in the program. My partner and I have had to delete many programs because we were unaware of the extra buttons that needed to be attatched to the program. This has been a great experience, and I hope everyone's robot is going well!
Ethan and I seemed to work together well, and I think that we both learned that if we have the same idea, it is easier to work, because then we could divide the work in half so we work twice as fast, and we didn't rush to make seems crazy. I also learned that when you try to make something do something really hard, it will usually not work.
I personally thought that the project was very fun and I enjoyed it. I liked programing the robot to do all different types of things like the songs and making it move up and down. I thought that was really fun. I think that my partner and I did a very good job with programing our robot and I wouldn't mind doing this project again.
